Way behind...

I'm way behind...a few weekends ago, Gabe went out to Monterey, CA to visit his brother. While he was away, Avery and I spent two days in Greeley with my Mom and then went to stay at my Dads for Father's Day. I will let the photos do all the talking!

She wasn't sure about the pool at first, but she ended up loving it. She didn't want to hold on to Momma anymore. She needs some floaties so she can swim on her own!

Fun with her Auntie Ash
Getting a few bites of milkshake from Grandpa!

This girl loves rocks!

Loves to smell the flowers

Playing with my friend Meagan's kids. Will wouldn't let me take a picture of him...he was hiding!

Skysox Date

I surprised Gabe with a date to the Skysox game the other night, we had a blast! It was a perfect night for baseball! It was nice to spend some time together, especially before the next two weekends. Gabe is heading to California this weekend and I'm going to Virginia next weekend. A date was definitely necessary before we head our opposite directions. My sweet sister Ashley came down from Denver to stay with Avery. It worked out perfectly, we put Avery to bed early and Ash just hung out! Thanks so much for coming down Ash! After the game we hit up DQ for some yummy blizzards! I think Gabe was very happy with the surprise date! I was most excited about spending time with him and the ice cream to follow the game, of course! I sure love my husband!

Our seats were right behind the Visitors dugout...Gabe insisted that my toes be in this picture

Elephant Rock Ride 2010

Elephant Rock Ride was on Sunday. I did the 62 mile course with Gabe and my mom. It was a blast and I'm so happy I was able to ride considering I had a stomach bug for a couple days before the ride. I loved having Gabe there with me! It was his first "official" ride and the longest he has ever gone! He was a stud! The weather couldn't have been more perfect, we all felt great and completed it much faster than previous years!

Gabe is now hooked on cycling! I love it!

My mom is amazing...just a year ago she had a double knee replacement. This was her 4th big ride of the summer!

Beautiful views of Pikes Peak during the first half of the ride!

5am and we're ready to go!

Zoo, sickness and pool time!

Just doing a little catch up... this is what we were up to over the last week. We went with my friend Becky and her daughter Ashlyne to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! We joined some of Becky's friends there as well, so it was fun to go with a group and meet some other moms. Avery wasn't too fond of the giraffes, they got way up in her face! But other than that, I think she enjoyed seeing the different animals.
The day after the zoo she came down with an ear infection. We quickly got her on some meds, so she is on the mend. That hasn't kept us from having some fun pool time! She tried out her little pool for the first time. Such a pool time cutie!

So cuddly when shes sick...

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent half of Memorial Day weekend in Hays, Kansas. Gabe officiated a wedding out there for a friend he grew up with. Congrats to Reid and Stephanie, we were thankful to be a part of their wedding and special day! Gabe's parents came to the wedding, so it was great to spend some time with them as well! Most of all, I enjoyed seeing Gabe's old stomping grounds. He showed me where he lived in both Colby and Hays and also gave me a tour of his college campus. We have never been out there since we have been married, so it was fun to see where he came from! I'm pretty happy he moved to Colorado though!

We spent our Memorial Day outside in the beautiful weather! We went on a hike to Palmer Lake Reservoir, which was beautiful! Some friends of ours recently gave us a hiking backpack for Avery to ride in, so it was fun to try that out for the first time. Avery loved it! We went to a fun BBQ and spent some time with friends in the evening, so the day was wonderful!

I am so thankful for the men, women and families who have sacrificed for us and our country! Thank you for serving for our freedom!
