Party Girl Weekend

We had a really busy weekend, it included going to Adam and Gretchen's wedding at the Flying W Ranch here in the Springs. Gretchen is my sister in law's sister. She was such a gorgeous bride and the wedding was so much fun! Avery was such a party girl!

SHOW US YOUR LIFE - Wedding Dress

Today for Kelly's tour, it is show your WEDDING DRESS day! I just love going back and looking at these photos. They remind me how incredible our wedding day was! As a bride, I have never felt more beautiful. I know that is the Lord's desire. As I worked on this post, the Lord impressed upon me that he wants me and every other woman to feel that beautiful and loved every single day!

Here is my dress!

Here are a few pictures of the day I found my wedding dress! It was actually the first dress I tried on. I loved it right away, but I wanted to go ahead and try on a few different styles before deciding. I narrowed it down to two. I kept going back and forth, but every time I put on MY dress, I simply felt like a BRIDE! It was the one!

Story

Avery has a story she wants to tell everyone. I think she might be saying how happy she is that she got so much sleep! That night was the longest she had ever slept. She made it about 9 hours, ate, and then slept for another few hours. It was unbelievable!! I shot this video first thing in the morning, just after she had finished eating.

Grammy and Grandpa's House

Over the weekend, Avery and I went up to Grammy and Grandpa's house to stay for a night. Gabe went to Kansas for a few days to work on a paint job with his Dad, so Avery and I thought it would be fun to go stay at my Dad's house up in Aurora for the first time. Thank you Gabe for working so hard for us...we appreciate you soooo much!
Even though we really missed Daddy, we had a great time staying at my Dads house. She did so well staying in a new place and she just loved playing with everyone! There was definitely an abundance of LOVE to go around!

Cousins

Yesterday we went up to Denver to hang out with Jayne and the girlies. We had such a fun day with the cousins. I just love watching them LOVE on Avery the way that they do and I’m so thankful we live close to them so we can hang out!! They are very sweet with her! We ate subway and hung out at the pool, what a perfect afternoon! I am always thankful for the time I get to spend with Jayne. She has so much wisdom to offer about motherhood; I have already learned so much from her! She seriously amazes me, she has 3 girlies, is expecting little Brody on August 24th, and her hubby is in Iraq. She is truly amazing and I love spending time with her! What a sweet sister in law I have!

Another fun Saturday morning at the pool! Avery liked having her toes in the water this time! The first time we took her to the pool she wasn't too happy when we tried putting her toes in. It was such a beautiful and relaxing morning at the pool!
