We got to ride on the trail that runs from Breckenridge to Frisco. It is a beautiful ride along the Blue River. Incredible scenery with the sound of the river flowing...it was so fun! 
We ate dinner on our actual anniversary, May 25th, at the Blue River Bistro.
We had the chance to get away to Breckenridge, CO. to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. It was a long weekend filled with the perfect balance of sleep, relaxation, hiking, biking and simply thanking our Lord for our marriage! As we reflect back on our first year of marriage, we recognize some of the challenges we have faced. However, they have only made the "Jenkins Team" stronger. We are learning more each day how to be the husband and wife God has called us to be! It is such an amazing blessing and gift! We have seen God's grace abound! As we sat on the balcony, watching the sunset over the mountains, Gabe said a comment that was very powerful to me. He said "This, right here, is all we have to look forward to" (besides Heaven, of course). Too often, we look ahead, not realizing what God has given us in the moment. It gave me a new vision for our marriage. Each day I get to spend with Gabe, my best friend, is a gift to me. We are certainly excited about what God is doing in our marriage and our lives, but we simply want to enjoy and embrace every minute of it! This weekend was completely refreshing!
