Christmas in Washington D.C.

We traveled to Washington D.C. this year for Christmas thanks to Gabe's Mom. It was also a surprise to Gabe's Dad in order to celebrate his upcoming 60th Birthday. Up until the actual trip, Pop Pop had no idea we were going with them to spend Christmas at Gabe's brothers house. We surprised him at a restuarant before heading to the airport with them...

I'm in the process of making my annual Jenkins Christmas video, but until then...here are just a "few" of the many photos I took!

Our Family Christmas...

We celebrated as a family a few days early because we would be in Washington D.C. for Christmas day...

They opened their Christmas jammies very early this year...

Both of the girls wanted footie jammies so badly; however, they won't sleep in them because they don't like their feet covered...silly girls! I have since cut off the feet so they will actually wear their new jammies!

Both of the girls wanted a "Jesus Cross" necklace for Christmas...they both loved it!

Christmas Program

Avery had her preschool Christmas Program this week!
It was short and sweet, but she had a very important "line" in the play...

"Jesus came as a baby for me. My gift to Him is my heart"!
Talk about melting a Momma's heart. We practiced her line many times in the weeks leading up to the program and she nailed it! So proud of her!

Daddy helping her decorate her cookie...

I tried to get a few photos before heading to her program...
Love these faces!

I pray they always have a special sister relationship and friendship!
