January...

January has been an extremely busy and exciting month! 

We are in the process of closing on our very first home! I'll give more details soon, but for now, here is our January in photos...

 Thankful for a day of beautiful weather so we could get out and get some fresh air!  The winter can feel so long sometimes..

Grandpa Shaw

While in D.C., I was thankful for the opportunity to go visit my Grandpa's grave site at Arlington Cemetery. I didn't know my Grandpa at all really, in fact I only have one memory of him, but I will never forget the time Gabe and I (and Owen) spent together at his grave. I'm looking forward to learning more about my Grandpa.

It truly was a powerful experience I will always remember!
