First Day of Preschool!

Avery started preschool!  It's still setting in that we now have a preschooler, but we're all very excited about it! I am involved in a preschool coop, which is a HUGE blessing! There are 30 other mom's, two 4 year old classes and one 3 year old class. She will have school two mornings a week. In order to be in the coop, each Mom commits to teaching two weeks (4 classes) each semester. I'm teaching the first session, so I am one of Avery's first teachers! It's been fun to see her in the school setting, but it will also be really good for her to have different teachers. I'm just very thankful to be a part of such an organized coop, by experienced Mom's who have education backgrounds. I'm excited for Avery; she's going to learn so much!
She's growing up way too fast!

Here she is in her classroom...too cute in her backpack!
We couldn't be more proud of you, Avery! We love you!

Durango- Part III

This is the final post from our trip to Durango...

Our newest nephew, Wade!
He is so precious!
I wish I had more photos of him, but he mostly slept on his Momma while we were there.

Sophie had a turn on the big swing!

They all loved playing in Coby's new sandbox!

There are two private ponds near my sister's neighborhood. We took the girls there to play in the water and of course they had a ball!

Durango is so beautiful!

More photos from our trip to Durango!

Cousin love!

Coby's Daddy, Adam, built him an awesome swing!
Coby was showing the girls how high he can go!

After playing outside at their house, we went into Durango (they live 10 minutes out). We took the girls to a park and down to the river so they could put their feet in the water.

More photos to come...

Durango- Part I

We took a trip to Durango a couple of weeks ago to see my sister and her family. They recently welcomed their 2nd boy, sweet Wade, so we were super excited to meet him for the first time! After driving about 6 hours, without letting the girls out of the car, we decided to stop in Pagosa Springs to stretch our legs and grab a quick Subway dinner. It was the perfect place for us all to take a break from being in the car. Thankfully, they both did amazing in the car (with little to no sleeping!)

Sophie didn't sleep a single minute on the way...

Excited to see cousins!

 Beautiful drive!

Pagosa Springs

We decided we want to take the girls to the resort you can see in the background when they are bigger. So many hot spring pools and hot tubs. Looks like a blast!

The girls loved running around this fountain...you can see Avery on the other side!

I have never seen such an amazing sunset! So beautiful, we had to pull over on the way out of Pagosa Springs to get a photo! Absolutely breathtaking!
